Privacy.

What we collect

• Your email, only if you give it to us. Two places ask for it: the "Get the next game first" signup box on the home page, and an optional checkbox when you submit a leaderboard score. Both are opt-in. We use your email for one thing: to tell you when new games and lists go live. That is it.
• The name you type on a leaderboard. When you submit a daily score you can enter a name or handle. It is shown publicly next to your score. Please do not use your full real name if you would rather stay anonymous, a nickname works fine.
• Anonymous usage counts. We count how often certain buttons get tapped (for example, how many people share a list) so we know which features people enjoy. These are plain tallies. They are not tied to you, your name, or your email.
• Basic, privacy-friendly traffic stats. Our host, Cloudflare, gives us aggregate analytics (page views, rough location, device type). It does not use tracking cookies and does not build a profile of you.

Advertising

DraftRoom does not currently run ads. In the future, we may show ads through a third-party ad network such as Google AdSense. If we do, that network may use cookies or similar device identifiers to serve and measure ads — including interest-based advertising based on your browsing activity across other sites.

We will update this page before ads go live. In the meantime:

• Google's ad technology policies are described at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
• You can review and adjust Google's ad personalization settings at adssettings.google.com.

What we do not do

• We do not sell, rent, or trade your information.
• We do not collect more than what is listed above, and we do not track you across other websites for our own purposes.

Who helps us run the site

We use a couple of trusted services to operate DraftRoom. Your information may be processed by them only for the purposes above:

• Formspree handles the home-page email signup form.
• Cloudflare provides our hosting, the leaderboard database, and the aggregate analytics.

Cookies and your device

DraftRoom itself does not set advertising or tracking cookies. The games save your progress, streaks, and past results in your own browser's local storage, on your device only. Clearing your browser data clears them. Nothing about that local game data is sent to us.

If we enable a third-party ad network in the future (see Advertising above), that network may set its own cookies. We will note this here when it happens.

Removing your information or unsubscribing

You can ask us to delete your email or your leaderboard name at any time. Email hello@playdraftroom.com and we will remove it.

To unsubscribe from DraftRoom emails, use the unsubscribe link included in every email we send, visit playdraftroom.com/api/unsubscribe, or email hello@playdraftroom.com and we will remove you immediately.

Children

DraftRoom is a general-audience sports site and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us their email, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this page

DraftRoom is an early, evolving project, so this page may change as the site grows. When it does, we will update the date at the top. If we ever start doing something materially different with your information, we will say so clearly.
